The BAI, as the lobby association for Alternative Investments in Germany, intends to bring participants at the BAI Alternative Investor Conference together to exchange their know-how and to contribute it to the comprehension of Alternative Investment in public. Alternative asset classes play an increasing role in the portfolio of institutional investors because of their positive qualities, for instance the risk minimisation or the higher return. As the acceptance has also grown in Germany, institutional investors invest more and more in Alternative Investments.
In particular, the conference offers an outstanding opportunity to exchange views on Alternative Investments with institutional investors, but also asset managers and service providers and other interested participants
The two-day event, which focuses on alternative investments, is the annual industry event in Germany where institutional investors in particular, as well as providers, supervisors and service providers, can discuss the latest developments in the AI industry.
Topics like use and quality of financial modeling in investments, low interest rate policy from the microeconomic point of view, building and managing an optimal private debt portfolio, performance measurement in private equity, opportunities in implementing market neutral and uncorrelated strategies, variety of alternative liquidity alternative investment strategies for the institutional portfolio , alternative risk premiums, legal and tax trends in accounts for alternative assets of institutional investors, the use of private market investments, US real estate debt, liquid real assets, opportunities for alternative investments for institutional investors, and the depositary's view on the private equity market discussed.
The program is once again geared to the needs of investors, using renowned speakers. Coffee and lunch breaks also provide an excellent opportunity for intensive networking.
Institutional endinvestors (insurances, endowments, pension funds, pension plans, single family offices) report in the investors' workshop in the morning of conference day 2 about their experiences with Alternative Investments. The participants, which are solely institutional end investors, have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and discuss them within the group.
Our established investors’ dinner, which takes place on conference day 1 in an exclusive location, together with our key note speakers, is a further opportunity to intensify the dialogue amongst each other.
*Endinvestors are organizations that exclusively invest on their own behalf in Alternative Investments and do not sell products to others.
Informations about our sponsoring opportunities are available at the BAI office (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Sponsors may use a small exhibition area in the Kap Europa. They will show their products and services. Again, institutional investors will have the opportunity to get the first information from the product supplier and – on request – get into direct contact.
