Markus Bannwart is Executive Director, Area Head of Alternative Investments & Structuring at Universal Investment. He is responsible for the group-wide product units which covers the entire range of alternative investment services. This includes infrastructure, private equity, private debt, and securitisation, as well as the structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal Investment’s platforms in Germany, Luxembourg and Ireland.

Markus Bannwart has over 25 years of experience in alternative investments.  Before joining Universal Investment in 2015, he worked for Commerz Real, Deka Immobilien, Aurelis Real Estate, and Deutsche Bahn.
