Sebastian J. Schweier is an experienced expert in infrastructure investments with extensive knowledge in equity and debt capital management. Over the past decade, he has played a key role in building and further developing the investment segment of the Versicherungskammer Group. In recognition of his achievements, he was honored with the "Forty under Forty" award by the Federal Association of Institutional Investors (bii) in 2022. Currently, Mr. Schweier serves as Head of Infrastructure Investments, overseeing the group's capital investments. Additionally, he holds various positions on investment committees, advisory boards, and management boards.
After completing his alternative civilian service in 2011, he began studying business administration at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences and the Nuremberg Institute of Technology, earning a master's degree with distinction in 2017. Between 2018 and 2022, he pursued postgraduate studies at the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA) in Frankfurt, obtaining the titles of Certified Credit Analyst (CCrA), Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA), and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
Beyond his professional activities, Sebastian Schweier is actively engaged in socio-political initiatives. He is a member of the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA) and the Initiative Deutsche Infrastruktur e.V., through which he advocates for the development of Germany’s infrastructure and investment landscape.
